Ford Motor Company is known for being connected in its communities and giving back to those who are loyal to their product. Texas ranks #1 in sales for the F-150, so it’s no surprise the Ford Texas team is very engaged in this state.
For the past 2-years, Hollywood’s has managed the Built Ford Tough Player of the Week Hometown Tailgate tour for the Texas Ford Division. This program is a way for local Ford dealers to provide an unexpected surprise and delight moment to connect with potential consumers. Each community votes on a “Player of the Week” and Ford honors that person with a website feature and trophy presentation.
Hollywood’s Productions created a custom vehicle wrap for the new 2019 Ford Expedition and took that on the road to ten high school football games. We sourced unique giveaways and partnered with the Dallas Cowboys to provide a ticket drawing as well! Hollywood’s also provided the brand ambassadors for each city, making it a turn-key experience for the client.
There’s no better place than under those Friday Night Lights, especially in Texas! Consumers loved our giveaways and used the set-up as a great photo opportunity on social media. The school’s band, cheer and dance teams, and student body all found ways to be involved. Our goal was to make it a warm and personable experience, as if we were members of their community. The tour was a great success, engaging more than 31,000 total fans for 10 games.
